Several projects have been chosen for each of the work packages 2, 3, 4 and 5 which are shown below
Objective Projects – Work Package 2
During the year 2018, an amount of € 691,529.81 was granted as aid to local entities for the promotion of energy efficiency, the implementation of renewable energies and the promotion of electric mobility. In addition, the non-profit entities received subsidies for the promotion of energy efficiency, renewable energy and sustainable mobility and shared for € 297,268.00.

Objective Projects – Work Package 5
Technical assistance is being provided to several companies in different projects for the implementation of energy efficiency measures.

WP5 – Replacement of compressors of the current compressed air installation by compressor with variable speed drive
Characteristics:
– Investments: € 185,169
– Estimated annual savings: 20%
WP5 – Replacing the current machine cooling installation using towers with high efficiency air condensed water chillers
Characteristics:
– Investments: € 330,000
– Estimated annual savings: 21%
WP5 – Replacing the current steam boilers with a steam boiler with incorporation of more efficient systems in the agri-food industry

– Estimated annual savings: 4%
WP5 – Replacing a batch digester with a continuous one in the agri-food industry
